SunRiver Club Exposition

The Sunriver Community Association hosted its Club Exposition held annually for all Sunriver Residents to showcase the over 75 clubs available to residents. Sunriver Junction Model Railroad Club is a division of the Color Country Model Railroad Club and organized several years to promote model railroading in the Sunriver community.

On Friday, September 6, several members of the Color Country/Sunriver Junction division participated showcasing various model train scales, including three operating layouts of Lionel, American Flyer, and G scale,  Members participating included Dan Mangiarcina, (Lionel layout), Ken Seefeld and Werner Balsterholt (G scale, HO and N scale), Richard Schaht (American Flyer Layout) and Vic Lorch. The Sunriver division has about 20 members, and participates in the annual Color Country Model Railroad Club tour the 2nd week of November each year for Southern Utah residents. They also host two additional open houses for Sunriver residents in December and the spring each year.
