Golden Spike Tower & Bailey Yard

This past April, Lee and I visited Union Pacific's Golden Spike Tower in North Platte, Nebraska.  The eight story tower overlooks a small portion of Bailey Yard (world's largest classification yard) and the locomotive service facility.  Scroll down to see more pictures of this truly impressive facility.

The locomotive service facility is modeled in HO scale and displayed on the eighth floor.
